The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination. Uttar Pradesh Board may declare HS Exam result on its site by May 2014. Lakhs of students appeared for the (Arts, Science and Commerce) 12th Examination. 12th result will help them to appear for the higher degree courses like BTech, BA, BSc, BCom etc.
